We’re Behind The Settee, thank you for looking into us.

A four-piece, BBC-Introducing-featured band from Rugby, Warwickshire, we love writing and performing music, and will be releasing our third album very soon, titled, Just Another Poison. We also have two previous albums, Shrinking Violet and Red Handed.

Our sound has been described as ‘slow and evil’, ‘theatrical folk-pop’, ‘ethereal and haunting’, ‘intricate and delicate’ as well as ‘moving and powerful’. Our eclectic, varied tastes in music and different writing styles allow our songs to take on a form that’s hard to describe and pin down to a single, specific genre.

Performing is very important to us, and therefore, so are all the people that come to see us.

We love our audience and want not only to share our world with them, but for them to feel they can share their world with us. Our stage presence has been complimented as being relaxed, fun and engaging, and we always stick around to chat and meet new people.

If you’re looking for dance music – we’re not for you. But, if you believe in original, relatable songs in a genre of their own, please get back to us.

We’d love to work with you.
